I worked with George Steinbrenner for a couple of years in the 80s, he was always a stand up guy, never gave me any hassles because I did my job.
He saved the Yankees in the 70s, put his money where his mouth was, gave back to the community & demanded the best.
I hope no one ever sells the name Yankee Stadium, it is not "Coka Cola", "Pepsi stadium" "Tropicana" its YANKEE STADIUM.
I am grateful to George the name remained while he was alive.
